Since lockdown has begun to ease, we’ve started going out more than we have been for months and it’s important that we all remember to social distance. For many of us, keeping a social distance is a visual process, but for those who are visually impaired or blind, it can be a very stressful and confusing experience. To help, the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) has been working with the Cabinet Office to develop a “social distancing tool” which is free to print out and use.

Contact has published new Back to School information for families in England, who may be feeling worried or confused about what’s to come. Contact is also hosting a Q&A session on their Facebook page on Thursday 27 August between 2.00pm-4.00pm, offering parents the opportunity to ask Contact’s parent advisers any questions that they may have about going back to school.
