We are really pleased to be working with STePs again this year and have scheduled dates to attend their drop in coffee mornings, along with Umbrella. The sessions are aimed at parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, their relatives, siblings and close friends as well as the children and young people with social communication difficulties.
Please download the flyer which gives details of the dates, times and venues of the events and the dates we will be attending. We look forward to seeing you!

Parent Carers Together Coffee and Chat Drop In
SENDIASS attended the Parent Carers Together coffee and chat drop in on 10th August at Bramblebrook Community Centre on Stockbrook Street.
We spoke to the parents about future training opportunities for them in Derby and spent time discussing what sort of training they would like to be offered that would be relevant to them now, or would have benefitted from when their child was diagnosed.
We spent the whole session chatting with parents and investigating what they would like to attend.
We received lots of useful information that we took back to the office and have already started to plan events based on the information we have gained from the morning. Once these have been arranged, we will be advertising them here on our website and on our Facebook page. Please keep a look out for our updates!
