NHS chief Simon Stevens announced that a new task force will be set up to improve current specialist children and young people’s in-patient mental health, autism and learning disability services in England.

Specialist task force delivery teams will be made up of doctors, nurses, psychologists, psychiatrists and other medical professionals. It will seek to:

• make a rapid set of improvements in care – over 18 months – but starting immediately
• agree a set of recommendations for next steps.

Fashion is ignoring disabled customers, with three-quarters of disabled people surveyed saying that mainstream fashion in the UK does not meet their needs. A staggering 96% of the disabled people spoken to also believe that there is not enough representation of disability across the fashion industry today.

Ticketmaster’s scheme allows fans to submit details of their disability online. Once validated, the information is bound to their profile, meaning they can book tickets for all future gigs without extra effort.
