12 new instructional short films
The Family Fund has created 12 new instructional short films to help parents and carers of disabled children use their iPads safely and to their full potential. Lasting around two minutes each, the films cover topics like setting up devices, managing parental controls and online safety. There are also three dedicated films for families with disabled children addressing how to customise accessibility features to meet touch, vision and hearing needs.

All different types of brains are normal, but greater understanding has not led to more money for autism. As a graduate in the 1980s, Simon Baron‑Cohen taught autistic children at a special school in London. Are you 13-16? Want to make a difference and help deaf young people across the UK? Apply to become a member of our Young People’s Advisory Board (YAB) 2020 – 2022! The next YAB will be made up of 19 young people from across the UK and offers an exciting opportunity for young people to meet other deaf young people, learn new skills and make a difference.
