Getting pupils back into school: the unresolved problem of transport!
The government has now published its latest round of guidance as it aims to get all pupils back in school in the autumn term. One of the many concerns facing both schools and parents has been not just whether pupils should be going to school but how they are going to get there. The advice continues to be to avoid public transport and walk or cycle if at all possible.
Latest shielding guidance
The majority of children in England currently considered extremely vulnerable to COVID-19 will be removed from the shielded patient list, the government confirmed in the latest shielding guidance. This will only be done in consultation with their GP or specialist.
