A new film has premiered for International Women’s Day exploring Frida Kahlo

Described as a ‘magical journey through the life, mind, and heart of iconic artist Frida Kahlo‘, the film is based on her illustrated diary. At 18 she was in an accident and broke her pelvic bone, spine, right leg and collarbone, and was left with chronic pain. While spending months in bed with a full body cast she started painting. The film is in selected cinemas from 8 March, and on Prime Video on 14 March.
