England to ban use of mobile phones in schools

The Education Secretary, Gillian Keegan, has announced that schools across England should ban mobile phone use to improve behaviour. But Contact is urging schools to remember that mobiles phones must be allowed where they provide a “reasonable adjustment” under the Equality Act 2010.
