The Department for Health & Social Care and the Department for Education has made a decision regarding children who were previously advised to shield that they no longer need to. The results of recent clinical studies have been discussed by a panel of experts who have recommended that children and young people should no longer be considered clinically extremely vulnerable and therefore should not stay on the Shielded Patient List.
