Call for evidence opens on Personal Independence Payment

The Call for Evidence forms part of the Timms review of PIP. The government launched the review, led by Sir Stephen Timms, Minister for Social Security and Disability, after Labour MPs indicated that they would vote down original proposals to tighten PIP eligibility for new claimants. The government scrapped planned changes to PIP that would have affected existing claimants.
