Cycling charity Sustrans has launched a masterplan for a UK-wide visitors and barrier-free nationwide biking and strolling network (NCN) appropriate for “a sensible 12-year-old travelling alone”. They want to link most towns with safe routes accessible for walking as well as bikes and wheelchairs.
